Adams & Martin Group is assisting a Clayton, Missouri, law firm in their search for a Senior Corporate & Real Estate Associate with at least four (4) years of experience.
This role is designed for an attorney currently practicing at a larger regional or national firm who is ready for more ownership, meaningful client relationships, and a clear path toward long-term growth within a high-performing transactional group.
· Buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions
· Asset and stock purchase transactions
· Commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
· Corporate structuring and governance matters
· Strategic transactions from letter of intent through closing
We represent privately held businesses, developers, investors, and growth-oriented companies across industries.
This position is not limited to drafting support. You will:
· Lead significant portions of M&A transactions from diligence through closing
· Draft and negotiate core transaction documents (purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, LOIs, NDAs, financing documents)
· Advise clients on corporate governance and risk management
· Serve as primary or secondary client contact on transactions
· Coordinate with lenders, accountants, business advisors, and opposing counsel
· Mentor junior associates and contribute to team development
· 4+ years of corporate transactional and/or commercial real estate experience
· Demonstrated experience handling sophisticated M&A transactions
· Strong drafting and negotiation skills across complex deal documents
· Ability to independently manage deal workflow and timelines
· Commercial judgment and client-facing confidence
· Missouri licensure or eligibility for admission
We are seeking someone who operates at a high level, takes ownership of their work, and wants to build a long-term practice.
· Starting salary range: $140,000 - $170,000, depending on experience
· Bonus structure based on billable hours and overall performance
· Billable hour requirement: 1,800 annually
